October Health Report

Last month I wrote about how I’ve been killing myself for years – it’s time to change my diet! That post was an honest assessment of where I was in my life.

A month on, I can happily report I am feeling healthier. More self-prepared food, less processed, packaged food and loads of fruit and vegetables and I am feeling better. I’m not perfect, and the occasional burger has been eaten and the odd poor food choice, however I am a lot better than what I was.

Children Are Changing

One of the biggest changes I’ve experienced is with my daughter. Improving her diet appears to of helped her behaviour and attitude. I’m not dietician, however I can see the effect a calmer family member has on a household. Less mood swings and aggressive reactions are a huge benefit – and because we are not fighting, we are coming closer together.

Best Buy so Far

After reading a lot of reviews, I purchased a NutriNinja, this device quickly makes a smoothie anytime of day, with the added benefit of being easy to clean! I have also used this device for making sauces, well worth checking out.

Not Perfect, But Improved

As mentioned above, the change is not complete but is making an improvement. Weight down only a little, however feeling better in myself. The striking benefit so far is in child behaviour. This along with the general health benefits will keep me focused in improving.
